Name your space.
A space is one walled-off memory: one team, one client, or one project. Agents connected to it can’t read any other space.
Connect your Redis.
LogMem stores everything in a Redis you control. It sends one PING before saving anything.
Credentials are bound to this workspace and dropped if you disconnect. v0 stores them unencrypted on the server; encryption at rest is planned.
Already running ACMI agents?
Compatibility mode lets agents keep their acmi_* tools and shows their existing history in LogMem. Turn it off if you’re starting fresh.
Connect your first agent.
Pick where the agent runs. Paste the snippet, restart it, and come back here.
Watch the first entries arrive.
Ask your agent: logmem start quill, then give it any small task. Each change shows up here in order.
Add a second agent and pass it work.
Memory pays off when work moves between agents. Connect one more, then ask quill to hand something to it.
- Repeat step 4 on another host, with
LOGMEM_AGENT=atlas. - Tell quill:
hand issue 14 to atlas. LogMem writes a Handoff and atlas follows the job. - atlas’s next Brief lists the handoff until it notes
accepted.
